The Skin Pen treatment uses a precise FDA approved medical instrument with fine needles to create tiny micro punctures in the skin. Skin Tyte™ II is the second generation of Skin Tyte technology from Sciton that uses Infrared technology and Intense Pulsed Light to heat the deeper dermal layers of the skin to stimulate new collagen while protecting the surrounding tissue by using a state of the art Sapphire cooling handpiece unique to Sciton. By safety and slowly heating the tissue it allows the collagen to contract initiating a healing cascade which leads to firmer, smoother more resilient skin. The full effect of the skin tightening treatments will be seen following subsequent months.
The Skin Tyte II is a revolutionary new procedure safe and suitable for all skin types that can be performed anywhere on the body where skin firmness is desired. The most common areas to be treated are the face, neck, upper arms, back of the hands and abdomen (especially after pregnancy). Most individuals will require a series of 4-6 treatments which are spaced 2-4 weeks apart.
This treatment is very safe and can be performed in 30 minutes or less. Unlike other laser treatments, there is no downtime associated with this treatment and sun exposure does not need to be limited. Makeup can be applied immediately after your treatment making this a perfect lunch-time procedure.
