HALO™ Fractional Laser-
*Pre-paid service does not expire*
HALO™ by Sciton is the world’s first and only tuneable hybrid fractional laser. This skin resurfacing and rejuvenation treatment addresses skin tone, texture, and skin
tightening with just one treatment, dual wavelengths, and minimal downtime. Generally, skin-resurfacing treatments are performed with one of two types of lasers: ablative or non-ablative. Ablative treatments offer greater results but lengthy downtime, while non- ablative treatments don’t require the downtime but do not produce the same dramatic results.
HALO™ is a two-in-one treatment. It utilizes two different wavelengths emitted from the same Sciton laser: ablative and non-ablative. Ablative wavelengths remove the damaged top layers of skin while non-ablative wavelengths stimulate collagen production and tighten the skin.
WHAT DOES HALO™ ADDRESS:
- Sun damage
- Visible signs of aging
- Uneven skin tone
- Enlarged Pores
- Poor texture
- The appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
- Appearance of scars
Ideal candidates for the HALO treatment are women and men who are unhappy with discolouration of the skin, skin texture, and early signs of aging. Patients must be in good health and understand what a HALO treatment can and cannot accomplish. HALO hybrid fractional laser will provide you with a youthful, revitalized glow; it will not, however, provide results similar to that of a face of neck lift. Further, HALO works off of your own body’s healing response, so results vary between patients. HALO can easily be combined with other cosmetics facial treatments for more enhanced results.
HALO downtime is typically 5-10 days. Swelling and redness is expected for the first 3 days, followed by MENDS ( Microscopic Epithelial Necrotic Debris) which is the old damaged skin cells being pushed out and rejuvenated by the body. Results will peak from 3-6 months post treatment.
Please check with your skin health professional prior to purchasing, as treatments and or product home care may be required before beginning.
